Abstract: enThis Master thesis aims at, in the firs part of it, the reception and the influence of Ovid’s work during the different periods of History. If we have been able to note that the impact was marked in many artistic fields and in several regions of Europe, it is mainly French literature that has retained our attention. In the second part, we are interested in the particular case of the adaptations of the Ars Amatoria in the Middle Ages. After gaving presented the different medieval versions that we know of this text, we have made a comparison between the prologues of these different papers. This parallel between the texts allowed us to observe that, for the same source text and even considering only the prologue, the medieval realizations were different even if there are obviously common points between these adaptations.
