- Abstract
- For the last years, additive manufacturing has made its way into metallic manufacturing, essentially in aeronautics. This kind of manufacturing allows to increase the complexity of build parts as well as to lower the prices. However, mechanical properties of such produced parts are still poorly known. One of the most important mechanical property in aeronautics is fatigue strength. It is because of that property, as well for its excellent weight-strength ratio, that the Ti6Al4V alloy is so widespread in aeronautics. This thesis tries to study the fatigue crack growth in Ti6Al4V build through a specific additive manufacture technique: EBM (Electron Beam Melted). This research is made through Compact Tension Test cracks and fractography
