Abstract
Most of our daily movements are coordinated in a very natural way and seem easy to achieve. However, the mechanisms underlying our ability to perform such movements with precision are highly complex and require the integration of a great deal of information. The objective of this work is to analyze the visual and manual tracking mechanisms of a target in dynamic condition (passive and active). By means of four experimental conditions assigned to sixteen participants with the KINARM robot, we reflect on the interest of a comparison between active and passive conditions. We also discuss the presence of a possible learning effect. The results are used to advance research on the subject by confirming some of the data in the scientific literature and suggesting avenues for reflection on the study of the mechanisms underlying our movements.
