- Abstract
- This thesis is centred around the need to facilitate the creation of cybersecurity exercises on the INGInious platform. Cybersecurity is a fast-growing field that requires regular work to keep up-to-date. In university cybersecurity courses, students are required to solve practical exercises to better understand and master the concepts. For teachers, creating and correcting exercises is often a repetitive and time-consuming task. The Université Catholique de Louvain has an online platform, called INGInious, which allows teachers to give different types of exercises to their students and to correct them automatically. This master thesis aims to extend the INGInious platform to include a modular task system for cybersecurity exercises, allowing teachers to automatically generate new exercises to save time.
