- The European Union and Türkiye have long maintained complex and evolving relations. This thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of the Europeanization process in Türkiye, examining its historical trajectory and current dynamics. It also delves into the complexities of public opinions in both Türkiye and Europe regarding Türkiye's potential EU membership. Through extensive surveys and data analysis, the study explores how public opinion have evolved over time and identifies the key determinants influencing these opinions. Additionally, the research investigates the possible implications and consequences of these evolving perceptions on the future prospects of Türkiye's relations with the European Union. By shedding light on the intricate interplay between Europeanization, public opinions, and future relations, this thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding Türkiye's EU accession process and its implications for the European Union.
