Abstract
This thesis focuses on negotiation and more precisely on the influence of emotions in negotiations. In this thesis, I seek to answer the following question: “To what extent are emotions in negotiations dealt with in English business handbooks and textbooks?”. I, therefore, compare what is mentioned in scientific papers and specialized handbooks in terms of emotions in negotiations with what is included in textbooks aimed at learners of business English.
