Abstract
To consolidate its position as the world's leading specialist in upscale, all-inclusive holidays, Club Med is renewing and adapting its database. An analysis of the data including all the references that the company used to supply its “resorts”, is to be carried out. Several items in this database no longer correspond to the company's needs. Many references are obsolete or do not meet the expectations and standards defined by the Products & Services department. With the help of various theoretical tools (Spend Analysis, Pareto Principle and Kraljic Matrix) as well as extractions from the internal item base, the objective of this master thesis is to propose recommendations in order to optimize the management of the supply base in line with the company's strategy.
