- Today, the number of innovation education programs continues to grow. Innovation is essential to meet the many challenges we face in the 21st century. The aim of this thesis is to propose a conceptual framework for innovation education inspired by the educational sciences and to discuss its two main levels, the ontological and the educational. This framework is then used to discuss different types of innovation education programs, focusing on the learning modes and the audience. First, as part of our exploratory research, we explored the existing literature and produced a theoretical inventory based on the program's objectives and audience. Then, for the empirical part of this thesis. We carried out a qualitative analysis of various innovation education programs, applying the framework detailed in the literature review. Mapping these programs enables us to identify the major trends set out in a final directory. We also conducted two semi-structured interviews to bring a critical and external perspective to our inventory. Based on this directory and the interviews, we were able to formulate recommendations for program developers. These recommendations enable the program designer to visualize the learning modes available for his target audience. The recommendations also give some tips that the designer can apply to maximize the chances of providing a program that meets the learner's expectations. Finally, we discuss the various limitations and avenues for future research related to this thesis.
