- Abstract
- In this thesis, we aimed to analyze the notion of corporate ideation process (CIP) as a whole in order to be able to clarify the concept, understand the different stages it includes as well as their respective pitfalls. In a second phase, the research is focused on digging deeper into a particular example of CIP, namely employee-driven innovation (EDI). To do so, we firstly identified the core elements of the definition alongside with its potential benefits and drawbacks, as well as its key success factors. Secondly, we conducted 10 interviews with 11 field experts on this topic, in order to confront our theoretical findings with the empirical results from these interviews. In the end, we propose managerial implications regarding the implementation of EDI processes.
