Abstract
The thesis focuses on the link between globalization and inequality and on how we can measure these two variables. The analysis is divided in three chapters, where we have respectively an introduction to the measurement issues, a specific study on nine Asian countries and finally two research papers focusing on the Indian Trade Liberalization of 1991, considering it from two different points of view.
