Abstract
Revision of the previous literature on asylum migration, identification of endogenous and exogenous socioeconomic factors that influence them, analysis of past and current trends on bilateral asylum migration flows, collection and interpretation of bilateral data in order to analyze immigration patterns and their economic impact. Regression experiment on bilateral asylum flows. Discussion of solutions and and possible reforms on European asylum policy.
