Abstract
In recent years, the demand for sustainable products has increased. Enterprises have a key role to play in sustainability. As part of them, a large majority are small and medium enterprises. On another side, the credit demand has also increased. This thesis investigates the ESG integration in the framework of a credit application made by a small or medium-sized company applied in the Belgian context. This paper lists the different actions on a European, Belgian and bank level as well as the success of their integration and new areas of improvement.
