- Abstract
- This study analyzes the relationship between international migration and armed conflict in Colombia between 1985-2015 using information from the LAMP1 Colombia project and the Victims Unit database. The varied nature of the data determined the use of two econometric models; for individuals and households the linear probability model was used and for the household heads the survival model with panel data was used. In this context, it was verified that the armed conflict affected the total international migration (forced and voluntary) for the study period.
