- Abstract
- Nowadays, one of the current most interesting topics for the pharmaceutical industry is the deracemization of racemic mixtures. Since the beginning of the 21st century, pharmaceutical industries are driven to the development of enantiopure drugs even if most of the currently marketed drugs are racemates. One of the objectives of Professor Leyssens’s group is the development of new deracemization methods, allowing the transformation of a racemic mixture into an enantiopure compound. This Master’s thesis consists of the prelude of developing a one-pot deracemization process based on the cocrystallization of a targeted molecule. This work will consist of the cocrystal screening of three different molecules, TFDB, Alpha-BPDA and AB-TFMB.
