Abstract
This thesis explores how sociolinguistic variables such as hierarchical power, gender, and age influence the choice of address forms in two varieties of Spanish: Peninsular Spanish and Colombian Spanish. The first season of two series, Sky Rojo for the Peninsular variant and La Reina del Flow for the Colombian variant, are analyzed to identify and examine the address forms used in each episode. The study aims to understand how these linguistic choices are influenced by the specified sociolinguistic variables.
