Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to research the different China policies under the presidencies of George Bush and Barack Obama. As a follow-up question, I researched whether the China policy had a corresponding effect on the American weapon sales policy to Taiwan. To do so, I made use of foreign policy analysis theory.
