- Abstract
- This paper is focused on the recent German NetzDG law. It assesses the act's compliance with standards of human rights law as well as the E-commerce Directive, then reviews its practical effects. It aims to finally determine whether the NetzDG constitutes a suitable model for future online speech regulation in the European Union.
