Tourette syndrome is a complex neurological disorder, beginning in the childhood, and often accompanied with psychological disorders. Main symptoms are chronic, more or less severe, involuntary motor and phonic tics. Psychiatric comorbidities such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity, anxiety and mood disorders etc, are often associated to this. No specific or curative treatment has been indicated so far. Therefore, new treatments are required. It will go on examinating into the effects of cannabidiol on tics and comorbidities. Finally, the pharmacist having a role to play in the dispensing of cannabidiol and the treatment in general, it will present a review of the knowledge and role of the pharmacist as to cannabidiol and Tourette syndrome.
