Abstract
Since their first appearance in the early 80's, gesture recognizers have played an important role in computer science and pushed scholars to engage in developing numerous competing algorithms. But with the ever-growing number of tactile and connected devices for specific platforms and environments, the need for a more global solution is profound. This is where our solution GestMan comes in : this web application aims at assembling the benefits of diverse existing (but sometimes old or restrictive) programs, with many new original features bundled in a complete collaborative user friendly experience. The goal of this dissertation will be to provide a clear overview of the developing process of our solution, from the feature analysis to the implementation and deployment stage. With clear objectives in mind, a fitting agile methodology responsive to changes in requirements and a reliable MEAN architecture, we will demonstrate that we were successful in meeting our initial objectives. However, this did not stopped us from considering possible improvements to be made to our solution, which will be covered in the final sections of this dissertation.
