- Abstract
- The present thesis tackles the foreign policy of Japan under the second mandate of Shinzo Abe, more specifically with regards to the country’s relation with its long-lasting ally, the United States. The originality of this work is to analyse the Japanese foreign policy with a role theory approach – a perspective seldom used regarding Tokyo’s foreign policy.
