Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to suggest improvements for IBA's production plan, aiming to increase its resilience in a changing world. To achieve this, an examination of the global market and the specific market within which IBA operates is presented. This is followed by a proposal for digitalization, utilizing a mathematical formulation to optimize the production plan based on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) available data. Various scenarios have been exposed and analyzed to identify opportunities for improvement within the company. While certain enhancements need additional data for effective implementation, others clearly showed that with current data, resilience inside IBA could be improved.
