Abstract
The purpose of this master thesis is to study the feasibility and profitability of an automated identification and tracking system inside a Belgian rental construction equipment company: Bam Mat. This real case application provides a technical and economic feasibility analysis of the project. First, a description of the company and the equipment is assessed. Then, the technical feasibility analyzes three available technologies: RFID, BLE and GPS. Finally, the economic feasibility of this system is studied thanks to a costs benefits analysis.
