Abstract
This dissertation aims to demonstrate the role of English in today's communication of seven Belgian breweries on social media. Beers are one of the most popular products in Belgium. Consequently, it is noteworthy to examine the way they introduce themselves on the market. All the breweries under study have official accounts on social media and they also own websites. The aim of feeding digital platforms is to promote their values, their events, and their products to both national and international audiences. This study reveals how Walloon breweries manage their digital presence by using national languages, but also by using English as a great informational language.
