- Abstract
- In this work, we explored the development and improvement of radiation mapping techniques within nuclear environments. Specifically, we investigated the feasibility of applying Kriging interpolation to radioactive dose rates. In the context of the SCK CEN Anubis ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) planning tool, we then integrated these methods into the development of a user-friendly software designed to facilitate the planning of nuclear activities for ALARA analysts. Finally, the software was used to validate its effectiveness during a nuclear power plant reactor coolant pump decontamination in the installations of Westinghouse Electric Belgium.
