Abstract
The goal of this thesis is to assess the economic profitability of storage in distribution networks with a hig-level of decentralized generation. The study is conducted using a SOCP relaxation of the AC Optimal Power Flow problem. Problems such as over voltage, curtailment of solar production, optimal placement and sizing of storage, model of pricings in distribution networks are investigated.
