- This master’s thesis examines the use of Virtual Reality in the realm of clinical Neuropsychology, focusing on assessment and rehabilitation. To the best of our knowledge, no extensive investigation concerning VR in all the various realms constituting neuropsychology such as neglect, dementia, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer’s disease, ADHD, TBI and stroke assembling and discussing research in one place has been done very recently. This work has for objective to present, analyze and discuss numerous studies up to recent ones concerning Virtual Reality and their impact on neuropsychological practice. We conducted a non-systematic literature review in order to highlight and put in relation relevant articles. The results and future research are discussed. The finding offers insight into how research is conducted on the subject and highlights how much VR literature is lacking in terms of reliable studies of large scale and strong validity. We also discuss about the usefulness of Virtual Reality, its advantages, disadvantages and limits based on scientific literature.
