- Abstract
- QUIC protocol is a newly protocol created by Google with the goal to reduce the latency of the web. Not originally created for resource-constraint devices, this protocol has some interesting features (reliability, fast connection establishment, authentication and encryption). As this protocol is built on top of UDP, we can make some significant changes. In this thesis, we will study the behaviour of the QUIC protocol in different cases by comparing the performance of different implementations. We will also compare it to the TCP protocol. We have created a tool that deploys and launches measures (CPU, memory utilization and packet analysis) about an implementation. Them we have analysed the results collected.
