Abstract

Au sein de la clinique juridique Rosa Parks, j'ai eu l'opportunité d'approfondir mes connaissances pratiques en droit des migrations. Cette expérience s'est articulée autour de deux axes principaux : des entretiens avec des demandeurs d'asile (dont le rapport est disponible en annexe) et ma participation au MOOT Court migration (International Migration and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition 2024), où j'ai représenté l'UCL aux côtés de trois collègues. Notre objectif était de défendre les intérêts d'Amara Ghafoori, une demandeuse d'asile fictive originaire d'Afghanistan, face à l'État de Taurasia. Ce mémoire contient donc les plaidoiries écrites que nous avons soumises dans le cadre du MOOT Court, ainsi que la défense orale de celui-ci. At the Rosa Parks Legal Clinic, I had the opportunity to deepen my practical knowledge of migration law. This experience revolved around two main areas: interviews with asylum seekers (whose report is available in the appendix) and my participation in the MOOT Court migration (International Migration and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition 2024), where I represented UCL alongside three colleagues. Our aim was to defend the interests of Amara Ghafoori, a fictitious asylum seeker from Afghanistan, against the State of Taurasia. This brief therefore contains the written pleadings submitted to the MOOT Court, as well as the oral defense of it.
