Abstract
Jindal Films Europe Virton faced many changes in their production environment and product range in recent years. As a result, the standard planning parameters helping the planning team at the operational level are out-of-date and must be updated. The purpose of this work is to set new standards at the tactical level. For each line of the two first production stages at the plant, we will create a repetitive planning cycle based on multiple product wheels. These wheels are configured with standard production sequences and frequencies, giving a good basis to determine standard lead times. Additional recommendations will be given at the end based on the analysis we made of JFEV’s production system.
